Top Comment: Hey guys, I’m excited to share with you a little project I worked on a while back in the hope that it get showcased. Basically, it’s an app that allows users to compare large amounts of money visually. This was a project I took on just to try out ThreeJs and I had so much fun with it.

How to make money 3D Printing ?

Main Post:

I've been 3D printing for about 1.5 years now, and I'm feeling really good about the quality of my prints. I'd really like to use my equipment and skills to make some extra money. I'm looking for any advice on how to market my services and get better ideas on things that will make money to print.

Any advice or personal experience would be great !

As someone who has run a (different) business for years, you are putting the cart before the horse. Only start a business because you are doing something that is generating so much interest and demand that you are turning down opportunities, and can write up a business proposal where you can prove that the business will make considerably more money than you can earn working at your current job. The idea of "build it and they will come" is idiotic stupidity. Do something amazing that generates a following, then capitalise on it. Most businesses fail. Most people learn the hard way. If anybody can do whatever you are interested in doing, someone will always be willing to work for less. Printing is common. Your only potential viable niche is designing stuff no one else has thought of or attempted. Even with this, be sure whatever idea you have is not high demand and easy for another designer to remake from scratch because we will and someone will likely make an improved innovation that makes yours obsolete.

Don't waste your money on the 3d version of Scream 6.

Main Post:

It's barely 3d at all and doesn't add anything to the experience. The most 3d part was the ladder sequence and it was pretty much one shot and it was over. Fun movie though. Had a lot of flaws but I still like it more than 5.

Unless movies are shot for the purpose of being in 3D, this is jist always a rule of thumb.

It's a gimmick to get people to spend more money to watch with goofy glasses

3D poker room like PKR?

Main Post:

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post but I used to play a lot on PKR and liked it very much in the 'old' days. Are there any similar 3d poker sites operational? (Real money, not play money).

Thanks!

Top Comment: PKR was the absolute shit! So underrated, mega soft with decent software. Cannot understand why no one played on it! Not sure about anything similar I'm afraid, I heard about a year ago a company had bought the PKR software and were planning to use it in the future but possibly (and seems now likely) just a rumour
